You should also run your favorite on-line virus scan to make sure you didn't pick up any type of bug.

You can find these online along with links on how to reinstall them. If you don't want to do that then you will need to first repair/replace the missing DLL's. This way you know the files are there and there can't be any kind of virus doing it.

The best thing to do and what I would do is a fresh Windows install. It could be hardware like a failing disk or something software like a virus that is causing it. I don't know anything about SCSI or how it would affect anything, do you think this could be a likely culprit? If so, is there anyway to fix it?Īll these point to registry problems. With reformatting is there any special steps I need to take?Īlso, I have been told by SEGA that my problem is related to the fact that both my hdd and my dvd rom drive are both NTFS and SCSI at the same time. One thing I wish to ask you at this point then is that I have heard that when reformatting an alienware system there are complications with the partitions, which I know nothing about, though I have reformatted in the past (back in the days of windows xp though, so I may be somewhat rusty).
#All steam games crashing driver
I have recently updated the on-board sound driver and am awaiting results before taking the next step. Needless to say I now look at what you have advised above in that it could be a corrupted registry - not sure exactly how this has happened though. I have also done numerous tests on my RAM which I think I noted earlier as well as testing via alien autopsy programme and once again no problems found.ĭELL have sent me a new graphics card, why I don't know (I would like to keep and pay for it and use via SLI) but I am 99% - 100% the issue is not the graphics card. Ok, have managed to find the PSA option via F12 and have done a scan of all the hardware listed on the options screen (selected thorough scan, took an hour or so to finish), results came back that there was no problems found, nothing out of place, no error messages etc so all looks well as far as this is concerned.

Very sorry for the delayed reply, have been a bit busy last couple of days.
